GETTING THERE

Directions to Champion Lakes Regatta Centre

Parking

A temporary car park will be opened for this event. Access is from Champion Drive (turn off prior to the Tonkin Highway intersection) or from Lake View Terrace. You can download the Parking and Transport Map (PDF) here.

For information on drop off, rideshare and the free shuttle bus service, please see our FAQs.

To prevent disruption to local residents, please do not park on streets surrounding the event venue. Street parking can obstruct traffic flow and access to homes. Please ensure that you do not block residential driveways or access points.

If you have an ACROD permit, you can park in the permanent and temporary ACROD parking bays in the Champion Lakes car park on Henley Drive. Spaces are limited, please ensure you display your ACROD parking permit.

If you are organising a group of people to arrive by bus, send us an email to [email protected] and we’ll let you know the best place to park.

Train or Bus

Unfortunately, there are no public transport bus stops in the immediate area. If coming from the city, railway replacement buses drop patrons off at Albany Highway. The nearest bus stop is approximately 1.3km or a 17 minute walk from the event site.

Please note that service times can be subject to change so please visit www.transperth.wa.gov.au or use Transperth JourneyPlanner before you travel.

ATM Locations

The Armadale Highland Gathering does not have any temporary ATMs, and some stallholders and food vendors may operate as cash only.

The closest ATMs are ATMx at Kelmscott Plaza, Precinct ATM at Champion Drive Shopping Centre, and Stargate Kelmscott, so be sure to plan ahead.

Road Closures

Please note that Henley Drive, which allows access to the main island of the Champion Lakes Regatta Centre, will be closed to the public on Sunday 6 October.
