GETTING THERE

Directions to Minnawarra Park

Parking

There are various car parks located around the Armadale City Centre, so we encourage you to plan ahead to avoid disappointment.

Temporary event car parks will be set up on the corners of Armadale and Abbey Roads for a gold coin donation to a local community group.

If you have an ACROD permit, you can park in the temporary ACROD parking bays along Neerigen Street however spaces are limited.

If you are organising a group of people to arrive by bus, send us an email to [email protected] and we’ll let you know the best place to park.

Train or Bus

If you’re taking Transperth services on the day, remember to plan your journey with JourneyPlanner on the Transperth website or the Transperth App before you travel. Timetabled services will operate across the network, to travel on any of our bus, train or ferry services, you’ll need to buy a ticket or use your SmartRider.

There will be more trains running on the Armadale Line on event day.

The first train to Armadale Station from Perth will arrive at 7.09am (exiting Perth 6.30am), operating on a half hour basis until 7.45am

At 7.45am, Armadale Line trains will begin operating on a 15 minute frequency until 7pm, after which they will return to a half hour frequency with the last train departing Perth at 12.02am (arriving Armadale at 12.41am).

At 8.15am, Trains from Armadale to Perth will begin operating on a 15 minute basis until 11.46pm (arriving Perth 12.25am).

ATM Locations

The Armadale Highland Gathering does not have any temporary ATMs on Minnawarra Park, and some stallholders and food vendors operate as cash only. We encourage you to bring cash on the day to avoid any delays.

The closest ATMs are ANZ, Commonwealth Bank and rediATM, located in the Armadale Central Shopping Centre on Orchard Avenue.
